Deirdre Watson is a Senior Barrister with 30 years experience in litigation and dispute resolution. She has acted in countless mediations involving franchise dispute and understands the tensions in the franchising relationship, from both sides. She has an in-depth legal knowledge of franchise law and disputes, through being a regular author in franchising, having presented to the New Zealand Law Society, the Auckland District Law society and Legalwise seminars on franchise topics and lecturing in franchising at Auckland University. She has undertaken the 5 day LEADR training in mediation (now conducted through the Resolution Institute).
