FANZ is the peak body representing the franchising community at government and other industry forums. We pride ourselves on advancing excellence in franchising and our Members upholding a high standard within the industry.
To join FANZ, you must comply with the FANZ Codes & Rules which you can access on the right.
FANZ Membership is optional for Franchises & Franchise-supporting businesses. Please read below for more information on the Annual Subscription Fee if you were to become a FANZ Member.

Franchise Association Codes and Rules
The FANZ Codes & Rules are integral to the application process. All franchise agreements and disclosure documents must meet the FANZ Codes & Rules requirements. Please find FANZ Codes & Rules here.
Disclosure Document
A Disclosure Document is required with all applications. The purposes of a Disclosure Document are:
- To give to a prospective Franchisee or a Franchisee proposing to enter into, renew or extend a franchise agreement, information from the Franchisor to help the Franchisee make a reasonably informed decision about the franchise.
- To give a Franchisee the current information from the Franchisor that is material to the running of the franchised business.
A Disclosure Document Template has been provided to help you create a disclosure document if you do not already have one.
The Code of Practice and Ethics will assist you in completing this template.
