He has over 15 years’ of Franchising experience gained through a progression of roles with Columbus Coffee where he was instrumental in the growth of the brand from 4 to over 60 outlets and winning multiple Westpac Franchise Association of New Zealand Franchise Awards, including two Supreme Awards. Further roles included General Manager of Mariposa Restaurant Holdings the owners of Mexicali Fresh and Burger Wisconsin franchise systems and Chief Operating Officer of the iconic New Zealand Brand – Cobb & Co.
More latterly, Nathan is founder and Director of Iridium Partners, a multi-disciplined consulting group focused on supporting sustainable franchise growth.
A member of the FANZ Board since 2016, Nathan has a particular interest in increasing membership and cultivating participation. His experience from being part of emerging as well as established franchise systems and from working in the franchise industry as a service provider provides a unique perspective and understanding of Franchising.
He lives in sunny Mount Maunganui and is active in franchising in the Bay of Plenty region, seeing Franchising as the perfect business model for providing business opportunities throughout regional New Zealand.
