Khushbu Sundarji
Khushbu Sundarji is a partner at Stewart Germann Law Office and has over ten years experience in Australia and New Zealand. In 2017 she joined Stewart Germann Law Office where she specialises in franchising, licensing and commercial contracts. She acts for multiple franchise systems and has advised franchisees across a wide spectrum of businesses throughout New Zealand. Khushbu is passionate about franchising and regularly writes articles on franchising both for New Zealand (including Franchise Magazine) and international publications. She is also been involved in presenting seminars about franchising. Khushbu has participated in many FANZ events including conducting a round table at the 2020 FANZ summit in Auckland and at the 2022 FANZ conference in Wellington. At the 2023 FANZ conference in Christchurch, she conducted a workshop on unfair contract terms. At the 2024 FANZ conference in Tauranga she facilitated a roundtable on restraints. At the 2025 FANZ conference in Hamilton she assisted in organising the inaugural Legal Symposium, facilitated a roundtable on restraints and was on the Legal Mega Panel. In 2024 Khushbu also joined the FANZ Advocacy Committee and is looking forward to continuing the important work of the committee in ensuring that any legislative change does not unfairly impact the franchising industry and continuing discussions with various government departments. Khushbu is excited to share her expertise to help further support the great work that FANZ does for the franchising community.
